How Do Living Things Grow and Change?
In this lesson, we will learn about the changes that happen to an organism during its life.
For example, The life cycle of beans starts with a seed then the organism grows and the adult reproduces then dies.
Also in this lesson, we will learn that most animals grow and change during their lifespans (the time from birth to death)
For most animals life cycle starts with an egg when it hatches or born, it grows and develops then becomes an adult and reproduces in times, it dies.
What is metamorphosis?
A series of changes in appearance that some organisms go through
There are two kinds of metamorphosis an insect can go through
1-Incomplete metamorphosis; the grasshopper goes through incomplete metamorphosis. The insect looks about the same during its life cycle.
2-Complete metamorphosis the butterfly goes through complete metamorphosis. The insect changes the way it looks during its life cycle.
